How we help children with Dyslexia
The Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation Learning Centre for Calgary offers, one-on-one tutoring to children who struggle with reading at no cost to the family.
Do we have a specific age range or grade level requirement? Eligible to children under the age of 18 regardless of grade level. In addition to the application form, a relatively recent psychoeducational assessment report must be provided.
What we offer:
- Reading and spelling instruction for kids with Dyslexia
- One-on-one support by trained volunteers
- A scientifically proven approach that builds skills and confidence
We help kids read, grow, and feel proud.
Free tutoring for children
Reading shouldn’t feel impossible. If your child finds reading hard because of dyslexia, we can help. At our Calgary Learning Centre, children receive one-on-one tutoring from caring volunteers, trained to teach literacy using the multisensory Orton Gillingham approach.
